Hawa Trust Foundation, women’s in Agriculture….. On the 12 of may 2019. Hawa trust Foundation after scouting over 5 villages that seriously engage in FGM practices spoke with the head and women to know the challenges and why they are engage in such harmful practice most especially the cutting of the clitoris . They explained to the foundation that the FGM is a source of income for them and that is why most of them are embark on it. The Foundation donated bags of seeds to the women and told them to replace the FGM practice as form of survival to farming after they explained to the foundation their challenges. the villages that benefited are mahera, fosorieya, weridala, massasir, manjoro, bonoya, and kamabia.
