Hawa Trust Foundation dated June 16th 2021 join Africa and Sierra Leone in particular to commemorate the Day of African Child (DAC) with theme:* “30 years after the adoption of charter: Accelerate implementation of AGENDA 2040 for Africa fit for children” Referencing the above mentioned subject matter, the Hawa Trust Foundation and partners after engaging quarries, orphanages, car wash places, market places, soweis, Blind School etc. organised Day of Africa Child at SOS Makeni, Bombali District.
The activity attracted children from different categories and institutions/schools such as children with disability, orphans, SGBV survivors amongst others. The Hawa Trust Foundation want to use this opportunity to thank all partners for ensuring that all the mentioned activities implemented successfully. The day has gone but the fight against all forms of child molestations remain. Team work makes dream work and we need to continue in that direction.
